Uncommon Cornet Typewriter that was manufactured by Corona Company to be sold in Harrods in London. 

Serial 616XXX from 1928.

this typewriter exactly belonged to a well known journalist from the 50s to the 7s within the city of London. unfortunately we do not have permission to share the full name by his family. 

Mechanical condition:

Professionally restored to working order. suitable for occasional typing due to age. 

New & fresh Black Ribbon Fitted. recommended to use one colour only. 

Minor misalignment due to age and usage and used platen. 

Cosmetic condition:

There are marks and minor scratches on the main frame back. 

Main Chrome is ok to good with age signs on it. 

Scratches on the left side of the front due to folding mechanism. 

Comes with original case. had age signs on it due to age and usage. supported on the front to lessen chance of damage of the folding front.

PICA Typeface

10 pts per the inch.  

 

test page shows the type, so its ok to type on but don't expect perfect prints due to age.
