This is an Early Version of the Progress Typewriter by Olympia that was the first step to reaching the SM line (SM1,SM2,SM3) and and looks More like a Later Version of the updated SM1. 

Extra Early Serial 13XXX from 1931

This machine cannot be found in a good condition and with its original spool covers. 

early version did not mention the name and had a special design that was later adopted for the SM1 model.

Excellent cosmetic Condition. 
Professionally cleaned to return to very condition for its age. 
Chrome Finish is perfect with minor rust on knob corner. 

Chrome keys all cleaned. 

The Back Space has a broken glass top,
Will appreciate zooming for a better evaluation. 

Mechanics:
Unfortunately we cant sell it as perfectly working due to a broken part in the line spacing mechanism. 

you can type but spacing is preferably done using the knob and not the line spacing lever. this is reflected in the price. 

This please, this typewriter is sold as a collectable typewriter and mainly for display and not heavy typing.
