Serial is  102XXX from 1957. 

Halda typewriters are made in Sweden and not many manufactured of this beautiful typewriter. 

Although many believe that Ernest Hemingway used Royal typewriters, it is well known that he loved typing on Halda portable that looks a lot like the Royal Quiet Deluxe typewriter. His last book was typed on a Halda typewriter as well. 

Mechanical condition:

Professionally restored to Perfect working order.

Smooth and ready to type for long hours. 

Types in two colours. 

New & fresh Black/red Ribbon Fitted on Original spools 

NEW platen fitted. worth £135 separately in our shop. 

Typewriter was Deeply cleaned and flushed from any grease and dirt. 

Cosmetic condition:

Like all our typewriters, it was genuinely restored & serviced.

Excellent condition for its age and only main marks on the front and corrosion to metal base. specially on the back. 

The base is made of soft wood that has old smell. 

Original carrying lid and base with age marks on its inside and outside. Hints of the old smell still exist.
