This Amazing machine is Manufactured in 1929 under the Serial 2513XXX
"When most people think "old typewriter," they picture something much like the Underwood No. 5. Why? Because this is the most successful typewriter design in history. Appearing shortly before 1900, the Underwood established the stereotype of a typewriter until the introduction of the IBM Selectric in 1961. When the Underwood was first introduced, it was only one of hundreds of competing and extremely varied typewriter designs. But by 1920, almost every typewriter imitated the Underwood." Richard Polt.

Rare to find Decals in good condition. Decals here are clear but have some fading on some sides and one paint drip on the front from previous owners.
Typewriter have age and usage signs all over.
Rubber feet Very good and Steady.
Chrome finish is Very good with minimum age signs and unfortunately there are some Black paint on a couple of Edges from previous owner.
There is a random Scratches and Old Paint Imperfection due to age.
Some of the Metal Parts have Fading and Age signs.
The Plate on the top of the Carriage where the "Underwood" Decal is will show scratches and a little dent on the left side.
Appreciate zooming all pictures for better evaluation of its cosmetic condition.

Perfectly Types when on the RED Colour Selector. When on Black, the Shift Key on the left Will Occasionally Feel a little Heavier or Hard to Press.
Again, Typewriter should be Always set on RED Colour ( We used only all Black Ribbon ) for a perfect performance.
