Made in 1909 with Serial 88XX by the famous German Mercedes company that has one elegant design that allows you to take out the inner mechanism out of the typewriter frame as in picture.
Was part of our personal collection and we know that the Model 2 by Mercedes was only manufactured for two years before they started only manufacturing and mass producing the Mercedes 3.
Not many left in this stunning condition.
Mechanical condition:
Professionally restored to semi-working order as I will not recommend for heavy typing at all and only for occasional typing.
Fitted the original 16mm ribbon on it but its not extremely well inked as its old and not sold any more. the standard 12.7mm will type but prints will be cut or not fully prints.
Original metal spools used.
Upper case alignment is not 100$ plus, a couple of letters are mis aligned.
Cosmetic condition:
Like all our typewriters, it was genuinely restored & serviced.
Excellent Decals
Age signs on feet and we will be sending on the pictured pad as feet are not in great shape and cracked.

Large PICA Typeface
Extra Large 9pts/Inch.
